Fundamentally, normal saline is a sterile mix of distilled water and pharmaceutical grade sodium chloride. We need your help making this and packaging it in sterile growlers.

To rapidly solve the IV normal saline shortage, we need to use what’s available to us. If brewers and distillers can sterilely package IV normal saline into growlers, we need to figure out how to sterilely and securely connect an upside down growler to an IV tube.

We need to safely test whether this can be a stop-gap measure for our patients, so we can mitigate rationing and resume normal operations. We need your help in running a safety and non-inferiority trial.
